THE LASS
AND THE LAD

We are the people behind the blog - the lass and the lad who are people, too, just like you

My favorite saying is #alwayschooseboth - you'll find that hashtag all over our social media pages!

1.

I love cats and dogs but don't have any pets {more on that in a future blog post}.

2.

I get up at 5 am every day, even on the weekends. Read more about why on the blog.

3.

The Lad and I have the cutest {and most mischievous} young lassies in the world. Pic below  vv

4.

Reading is my jam. Moms don't get a lot of time for this, but it's still one of my favorite things.

5.

The best things in life are worth working really, really hard for. Chug on, sister.

THE LAD

01/

Wood Worker Extraordinaire

This man can build anything, and he does it from pallets and scrap wood. He build our bed and headboard {with stained glass!}, our entertainment center, and on and on. He's amazing, ladies!

02/

Early Bird

He gets up early most days, too.

But unlike me, it never seems to faze him. He's never tired enough to be grumpy {like me} or tired enough to collapse on the couch and fall asleep at 7pm {like me...}

03/

He's Hilarious

The hubs still makes me giggle, even after many {seven plus} years together.

It's one of the first things I loved about him, and still one of my favorites.

The Inspiration

If I didn't have support, there's no way being a wild and free mama would work. I'd crave it but never be satisfied. The Lad reminds me to be myself and gives me room to fly. For that, I'm undone.
